Hi! I'm Leah Watson and I'm a musician and teacher offering online piano lessons, and in-person lessons in North Richmond, NSW. I love working with my students to explore their creativity and self-expression through music. I've been teaching since 2011 and love working with students of all ages and abilities.
I am passionate about helping my students learn to play music that they love. My teaching approach includes learning to read music, aural/transcription skills, understanding music theory, improvisation and composition, as well as developing a relaxed technique and beautiful tone.
I have a Bachelor of Music (Classical Piano) from Excelsia College, and a Bachelor of Creative Technology from JMC Academy.
I live in the beautiful Hawkesbury region of Australia with my husband, daughter and our cat. My favourite styles of music to play are Romantic, Impressionist, Classical, Pop and Folk/Singer-songwriter. Outside of teaching, I enjoy visiting our local markets, baking cakes, and playing with my toddler!
